Bill was dedicated to the gay and lesbian lifestyle and was a major contributor to the gay and lesbian community.  He was instrumental in starting “Sarasota Pride” and the Southwest Florida Business Guild.  He was quick-witted, warm and had a big heart.  He was generous with his friends but frugal in business.  He remained single in later years and adored his Welsh Corgi, Cori.   Bill was undoubtedly a “mover and a shaker” – if he were alive today, he would be impressed with and proud of seeing his dream come to fruition.
